The previous process of searching for the scanner device, scanning the barcode, and then putting the scanner back to grab the item is a thing of the past with the Nimmsta HS 50. With the thumb joint, the trigger button for scanning is easily activated. Due to the ergonomic fixation on the back of the hand, both hands remain free to grab the item. The high-performance Nimmsta HS 50 scanner communicates with the terminal, such as a PC, forklift terminal, handheld device, or mobile phone, via both Bluetooth Low Energy and 868 MHz.

The scanner must always be connected to the NIMMSTA APP on a terminal for operation. The connection setup (Easy Connect) is done by scanning the barcode generated when starting the NIMMSTA APP. For operation, two options are available - NIMMSTA Basic and NIMMSTA Pro. With NIMMSTA Basic, the scan process information is sent bidirectionally to the warehouse management system. NIMMSTA Pro features bidirectional communication between the customer's warehouse management system and the scanner device. This allows information for the next order to be displayed, such as aisle, shelf, location, item, or quantity. Thus, the employee does not need to look at the forklift terminal, mobile phone, or handheld device for the next picking process. All necessary instructions are displayed on the screen.
