Honeywell Granit 1280i

The Honeywell Granit™ 1280i full-range laser industrial scanner effortlessly decodes practically all linear barcodes with varying depths, ranging from 7.5-mil paper codes in poor print quality to retroreflective 100-mil codes. Its outstanding and fast reading performance, intuitive and adjustable aiming patterns ensure quick throughput and optimal productivity. Like all scanners in the Granit series, the 1280i is specifically designed to work in extreme environmental conditions. The rugged Granit housing of the 1280i, which has become the standard, with an IP65 rating withstands 5,000 drops (1-meter tumble drum) and 50 drops onto concrete from a height of 2 meters, even in freezing temperatures of -30°C. With the use of this top-of-the-line model, device failures are extremely rare, leading to significantly lower total operating costs.

Loud machinery and poor lighting conditions pose significant challenges during scanning, as users rely on the scanner's feedback to determine whether the scan was successful. Not so with the 1280i: thanks to its bright LEDs, increased signal tone volume, and vibration function, users always receive clear feedback regarding the decoding, eliminating the need for tedious rescanning.
