The Gryphon 4500 series impresses with its modern, sleek design and user-friendly ergonomics. Thanks to the innovative 2D imager that operates with warm white light, it captures both 1D and 2D codes quickly and securely.
For reading smaller, shorter codes, there are HD models with high resolution, and for capturing digital watermark codes, variants with red light optics are available. Equipped with Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion-sensing technology, the scanner automatically switches to handheld mode when picked up. Once placed back in the cradle, it switches back to presentation mode. The charging station is movable, allowing the scanner to be used as a presentation scanner while charging.
The wireless models are available with Bluetooth technology (GBT4500 model), narrowband radio based on Datalogic’s STAR Cordless System (GM4500 model), and as a wired variant (GD4500 model).
One of the key innovations for the Gryphon 4500 is inductive charging technology. It ensures higher reliability while simultaneously reducing overall costs, as maintenance and cleaning of contacts are eliminated. The wireless models can be used in 24/7 operations without interrupting workflows for cleaning and maintenance procedures.
